"And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation; And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth". Rev. 5: 9,10 KJV
Jesus being addressed as the King of kings is primarily because He is the king over every redeemed soul who is by birth into the kingdom made king. We are kings and He is our king.
Kings on earth are erroneously/ignorantly referred to as sovereign but they themselves know they take orders from superior forces that got them enthroned.
Likewise, in this kingdom to which we belong, we are kings but have a king over us, we are priests who have an high priest over them.
We shall further enlighten ourselves from tomorrow on to understand our position, power, jurisdiction and responsibilities and the expectations of our King and high priest from us as both priests and kings who are meant to reign upon the earth.
We will not be wasters of heavenly resources neither shall we disappoint the expectations of heaven over our lives in Jesus' name
