A priest is the man that stands between divinity and humanity. He serves as mouthpiece for God among men and as an advocate for man before God
A priest is taken from among men, he shares the weakness of man and is expected to adequately plead man's case before the most holy God knowing exactly what man passes through in the flesh.
A priest works at presenting the standard of the holy God to man, pulling men towards God by revealing to men the divine expectations over them and standing before God for man, pulling the hand of God's mercy towards man. A priest is not a judge but an intercessor. Priests work under the control of the high priest.
O comrade, how are you discharging your duty as a priest among men? How much of the will of God have you been able to reveal to men? Hope you have not gone beyond your jurisdiction as an intercessor to acting as a judge among men?
Arise, offer the sacrifice of prayers for perishing sinners as you reveal to them the will and expectations of God over their lives. Be touched by their infirmities and identify with them in their state knowing you also have only obtained grace.
Our generation will not fail in Jesus' name.
