"Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of Lord is risen upon thee" Isaiah 60:1 KJV.
It is glaring that the world has lost moral values in almost every sense; godly fear has vanished from every society. The elders that supposed to uphold morals are mostly themselves not only immoral but also encourage immorality, the rulers who suppose to enforce morality are themselves without any sense of value, religious leaders who supposed to be the hope of humanity have also lost focus. But that is not to give any surprise, the world is fast fading away in everything and standards will keep falling away. For this reason, God who knows this from time immemorial said "darkness shall cover the earth and gross darkness the people" Isaiah 60:2 and decided to raise you and I as lights for our generation.
Arise O comrade, lift up the banner of righteousness, live in awesome fear of your Lord, restore moral standards where you are, let the ray of hope shine forth from you so that the confused world will know there is truly a Saviour in Christ.
May we not miss out of the purpose of our existence as believers in Christ on the earth in Jesus' name.
