1John 4:8 says "God is love". It means God is love personified; He lives love, talks love, acts love, does everything in love and so on because He is love; love is His nature; He carries love jean.
In the same vein, we who are His children, we are to exhibit love being His replica, carrying the love jean.
Naturally, man tends to love those good to him and hate those perceived as enemies. No man has the power to truly love. Love among men naturally has one or two strings attached. The kind of love in the kingdom cannot be expressed by men who do not carry the love jean of the Father.
“Love your enemies! Do good to them. Lend to them without expecting to be repaid. Then your reward from heaven will be very great, and you will truly be acting as children of the Most High, for he is kind to those who are unthankful and wicked." Luke 6:35 NLT
It's expected of us O comrade to express the God's kind of love in this world, that is when we can truly fulfil purpose and the reason for our adoption achieved.
May we eceive grace daily to express this kind of love that the world can't understand for that is what it means to shine.
