"Jesus answered them and said, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Ye seek me, not because ye saw the miracles, but because ye did eat of the loaves, and were filled.
Labour not for the meat which perisheth, but for that meat which endureth unto everlasting life, which the Son of man shall give unto you: for him hath God the Father sealed." John 6:26,27.
To attend a church denomination is not to know Jesus. In John 6:24 it was recorded that some men put in some efforts looking for Jesus but when He was found Jesus knowing their very thoughts told them exactly what they came looking for.
Of a truth, anyone who sees the efforts they put into looking for Jesus would have been deceived to commend them but the true witness who knows the intent of man's heart said "you aren't actually looking for me but for bread".
Have you surrendered your totality to Jesus? I will say congratulations. If not, do so before it is too late to do because He alone has the God's approval as the saviour of mankind.
O comrade, all these up and down movements in the name of the Lord, what exactly do you seek? Bread or the Bread Himself?
Bread could be power, anointing, popularity, respect among men, financial gain, approval of men etc but the Bread is Christ Himself.
Labour not that which perishes, seek the Lord for in Him is eternal life and He shall be found of you.
