"For wherein shall it be known here that I and thy people have found grace in thy sight? is it not in that thou goest with us? so shall we be separated, I and thy people, from all the people that are upon the face of the earth" Exodus 33:16
Every man wants to be unique in a way. The reasons for those hairstyles, dress styles, specific slogans etc are quests for uniqueness. Everyone wants to be known uniquely hence, the different look creations.
In this world of darkness and perverseness, carrying God's presence is the only differing factor that is strong and sufficient enough to separate us as God's children from everyone else; it's not logos, slogans, possessions, denominational affiliation, mere engross with church activities etc but carrying God's presence.
O comrade, don't forget this God is the holy God, holy atmosphere created from holy living gives Him room to journey freely with individuals. Do your best under God's grace to live holy life and the uniqueness shall be evident.
This is the kind of uniqueness that brings the Father great honour among men.
May we receive grace to live a truly holy lives in this crooked and perversed world.
