CHRISTIAN JUDGEMENT

"So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God.

Let us not therefore judge one another any more: but judge this rather, that no man put a stumblingblock or an occasion to fall in his brother's way." Romans 14:12-13

Judgement of persons is exclusively God's job, He didn't delegate that to any man. It's therefore not any man's business to judge another person. This is because, man does not have the capacity to know the purpose of the creator God for another man neither can he accurately decipher motives but God is omniscient.

Yet, God gives men who operate by His Spirit grace to judge acts that are not born out of love. Christian judgement is itself an act of love; it is meant to correct rather than condemn, it is meant to bring an erring believers back on track, it is meant to prevent spread of ungodliness in the fold of saints and so on.

O comrade, are your judgements of actions christian? Are your judgements expression of love for persons? Please check lest you start usurping God's place over others.

Or, are you the type that hates christian judgement that is meant to help you in this christian race? Repent and endure corrections. It will help you a lot.

May we find grace to indeed express the mind of Christ one to another.

Shalom.
