"Cast thy burden upon the LORD, and he shall sustain thee: he shall never suffer the righteous to be moved." Psalms 55:22
Every living being has a burden whether celestial or terrestrial; man has burden and God also has burden(Matt 11:30). The major difference between these burdens is that man's burden slows him down and get him distracted from eternal purpose because they are born out of selfish desires but God's burden is to keep the man on course and get him fulfilled.
Man's burden are born out of selfish desires and it births worries and anxiety. But because burdens must be borne, God has volunteered to bear it for us, He calls us daily to exchange burdens with Him; He wants us to take His own burden which is light upon us and cast our heavy burdens upon Him.
O comrade, why bear the heavy burden that weighs down and distracts? Why not cast it upon the Lord Who is able to sustain you and keep you from being crushed? He is ever ready to bear our burdens; cast it upon Him.
