"It keeps no record of being wronged" 1Cor. 13:5 NLT
It is said that there is no forgetfulness in psychology but forgiveness cannot be truly done when records of wrongs are kept and a man whose psychology is not under the total influence of the Holy Spirit cannot express true love for offences will keep coming to a man as long as he lives.
O comrade, do you get offended too easily and finds it very hard to forget? Do you see that even when you profess forgiveness, constant remembrance keeps the offence fresh in the heart when the offender comes to scene? Don't throw in the towel, you can live victoriously over hatred and your lack of genuine love can be replaced with God's kind of love. Only rest on the help God has provided for you in Christ through total dependence and obedience to the indwelling Holy Spirit and this love which is shed abroad in our hearts shall find expression in and through you.
May we daily experience the workings of the Holy Spirit in us to becoming more like Him in Jesus' name.
