"Live wisely among those who are not believers, and make the most of every opportunity. Let your conversation be gracious and attractive so that you will have the right response for everyone." Colossians 4:5-6
A man of God once lamented how he has seen many highly anointed brethren live with little or no impact and have had doors closed against them and their ministries due to how they express themselves in words and attitude.
In my dialect, it is said that words could make someone break cola with you and again, words could make someone draw out a sword against you; depending on expression.
O comrade, did I hear you say you don't care how anybody feels about it as long as what you are saying is the truth? Don't be spiritually arrogant please.
The KJV puts it as "Let your speech be alway with grace, seasoned with salt..."
Mind your utterances, let them be drawn out of the well of love, let your mode of expression attract your hearers to living the better life that Christ gives, don't submit to the dictates of the flesh and you won't miss your reward with God.
May we pass our tests as we journey on in this race. Amen.
