"For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also" James 2:26
Faith has two major ingredients that keeps it alive: speaking in line and right attitude.
We are very familiar with confession of faith in this generation but little or nothing is said of faith attitude.
Some years ago, a woman close to me was suffering from psychological and emotional attack. As I was praying in my place the Lord ordered that I should fast and pray 7 days for her and go to pray with her the 7th day and that that will give her victory. I did as I was ordered. After praying for her, I told her what the Lord said about her troubles and told her to keep the confession of faith in her mouth. I had not left when she began to put up the "I am sick" attitude even when she was confessing right.
Just imagine when Abram returned from the Lord and told his household no longer to call him Abram but Abraham. Despite there could be mockery, he maintained the attitude of being Abraham till it came to pass.
Hannah was a woman of right attitude. The moment the man of God spoke, she believed and put on the attitude of someone whose prayer had been answered. 1Sam. 1:17,18.
O comrade, confession of faith without the right faith attitude will bring you no result.
Has God spoken? Believe it, confess it and let your attitude from thenceforth show that you trust He who has spoken that He is able to perform all that He had spoken.
Are you ill, don't just say "I am healed", leave the bed also and you shall see God's power at work.
Words and right attitude keeps faith alive
It is well with you in Jesus' name.
Shalom.
