Covetousness is defined as an immoderate desire for possession for something, especially for wealth.
Is God against having possessions? No. Not at all. Even Jesus taught that our heavenly Father knows we are in need of these things (Matt.6:32). It doesn't cost Him anything to supply us with all of them but He desires that we seek first His kingdom and His righteousness. But any believer who has contracted this end time virus will sure express covetousness which will give him no room for seeking God's kingdom nor desire to live righteously.
It is this symptom that makes people embezzle public funds, go into theft, become manipulative on pulpit, engage themselves in dubious businesses and so on.
O comrade, check if covetousness is not beginning to give you prayer points.
No matter how worst your condition may be, Jesus is still in the business of making people whole. Run to Him and He will help you.
