Truce is defined as an agreement between opposed parties in which they pledge to cease fighting for a limited time.
In the context of the scripture, the truce between God and man was cut in Christ when Christ offered Himself to die to buy man salvation. After then, the believer is no longer to live for himself but for Christ throughout his limited time here on earth.
If truce therefore means agreement to abide by a particular term by opposing parties, breaking it means defaulting agreement.
Believers with this end time viral infection exhibit this symptom wherein indulgence is enshrined rather than abstinence. They love themselves above all else practically even though they may religiously recite "I love you Jesus" when in seeming worship mood, they act as the Lord of their lives; making decisions and taking steps without bothering to know if it is the will of the One they are supposed to live for and so on.
Are you infected by this virus O comrade? Do you see this symptom expressing itself through you? All hope is not lost. Return to the Master with a willing heart and determination to live for Him Who died for you to live and grace, even sufficient grace will be supplied.
