God is in the business of showcasing His children for the world to see. God is invisible and has chosen to show the world His qualities through His children.
The creations of God in every place wait in eager expectation of this for through that alone can they truly know God and His characters.
God is light(1John1:5) and had made us His children also lights(John 5:14)
Being made the children of the light and lights also (1Thes.5:5), as like beget like, we are to shine; revealing the nature of our Father.
O comrade, do less of saying it, do more of shining forth. For only then shall the world know the Father and be saved.
We are not lights because we shine, we shine because we're lights; we are not God's children because we do good works, we do good works because we're God's children.
Meditate on that.
