PREREQUISITES FOR BECOMING LIKE JESUS 3
"Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls." Matt.11:28,29
Another prerequisite for becoming like Jesus apart from coming to Christ and yielding one's neck daily to the yoke of discipleship with Christ is learning from the Master.
It is not enough to claim to have yielded one's neck to the yoke of discipleship, there must also be a deliberate, conscious learning from the life of the Master.
The more we learn from Him aided by the Spirit of grace, the more we will look like Him thereby respresenting Him well among men.
1. Come unto the Saviour;
2. Yield your neck to the yoke of discipleship with Him; and in discipleship
3. Make conscious effort to learn from the Master daily and you shall grow to indeed be like Him.
May we be daily utilizers and not abusers of grace.
