The second disadvantage of not choosing to submit to the Lordship of Jehovah God is that such life apart from being miserable in this life will suffer eternal separation from God.
Jesus Himself said "For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God." John 3:17,18
This is because "Jesus cried and said, He that believeth on me, believeth not on me, but on him that sent me." John 12:44 And "He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him." John 3:36. This is because whoever does not serve Jesus is despised by Jehovah God for Jesus also say "If any man serve me, let him follow me; and where I am, there shall also my servant be: if any man serve me, him will my Father honour". John 12:26 and "That all men should honour the Son, even as they honour the Father. He that honoureth not the Son honoureth not the Father which hath sent him." John 5:23.
If what makes man live before God is the life of God in man which is the link between God and man, dissociating from the Life (John14:6) is eternal separation from God.
