In this world, a man becomes a citizen of a kingdom/country/nation by different means; either by birth, registration, naturalization and so on and thus, could become a citizen of multiple kingdoms as we have seen it last week. But in this kingdom of God wherein Christ is king, a man becomes a citizen ONLY by birth.
No matter how many years one spends among believers in the church, as long as he is not born into this kingdom, he is no citizen.
We were all born into the kingdom of this world by our human parents but until we die to this kingdom and become BORN AGAIN into the kingdom of God, we may imitate the culture of the kingdom, language of the kingdom, outlook of the kingdom, or in fact, work for the kingdom or be celebrated among the gatherings of kingdom citizens. It's all useless.
O comrade, are you truly dead to the old kingdom where sin, self, worldliness and satan hold sway? And are you born again into the kingdom of God? You have nothing to lose submitting your life at the cross of Christ now for death that the life of God may be birthed afress/anew in you.
