"Love never gives up" 1Cor.13:4 MSG
Many at times when a good man dies, a lot of people lament and point to the wicked in the society saying "This kind of people ought to be the ones visited with untimely death" not good men. They forget the one that keeps such alive is God Who does not give up over such life; giving him allowance more and more maybe he will repent and not perish.
The wicked therefore seem to live longer not because God tolerates wickedness but because He loves the wicked and wouldn't want him to perish.
O comrade, do you imagine how many sinners we have abandoned just because we preached twice or three times to them and they didn't yield? Can you imagine how many wicked men we wish dead right there in their sins in the society? Can you ever imagine how many messages of love we have preached without permitting the same love to find expression through us in praying for an encounter, a change of heart and genuine repentance for the sinners around us?
Let us not give up, let us press more and more in persuading sinners to repentance rather than praying them dead out of lack of love.
God is love; love never gives up. Let us crave grace daily to resemble our Father and we will surely lead peaceable life in this present world.
