"For My thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways My ways, says the Lord.
For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways and My thoughts than your thoughts."
I told a congregation of saints a couple of weeks ago that most times when we pray to God we also in a way want to tell God how we want our prayers answered.
This is most times because we either want God to share in our sentiments or we are afraid situation may belittle our God of whom we have boasted.
To pray is man's responsibility but to answer is God's.
Have you truly prayed O comrade? Are you sure you prayed a faith-full prayer? Do you believe God hears and answers prayers? Do you believe He heard you when you poured out that burden before Him? If your answer is yes and situation still seems like God has abandoned you, don't give up, like Daniel, keep fueling the fire on that altar before the Lord and you shall surely be surprised when the answer comes.
The Lord will answer you in a way you never expected and you shall have testimony.
