HUMILITY: KEY TO OBTAINING MORE GRACE

"But He gives us more and more grace (power of the Holy Spirit, to meet this evil tendency and all others fully). That is why He says, God sets Himself against the proud and haughty, but gives grace [continually] to the lowly (those who are humble enough to receive it)." James 4:6 AMP.
When we pray that grace be multiplied unto us many at times we think God will contradict Himself to do our biddings ANYHOW. We forget that our God has principles which grace was not meant to change but rather enable us to walk with.
What if an arrogant/proud man can tongue for 24hours? It doesn't change God's stance one bit. God by His nature resists the proud by love.
O comrade, no matter the quantity of grace you have from God, insight/revelation you have in the word of God, level of faith God has given you, brother Paul said in Rom.12:3 "For by the grace (unmerited favor of God) given to me I warn everyone among you not to estimate and think of himself more highly than he ought [not to have an exaggerated opinion of his own importance], but to rate his ability with sober judgment, each according to the degree of faith apportioned by God to him." AMP.
May we receive grace for humility even as the gifts of the Holy Spirit find expression through us and walk daily by faith.
