Even though God is not seen, one major thing that differentiate this generation from the older generation is that the older generation even though they may not know much as we men of this generation claim to know, they revere God and his presence. Unlike this generation of believers that "understands" and exercise their rights not minding the Father's will more than any previous generation.
In Malachi 1:6-8, Jehovah God raised an issue on contemptuous dealings among priests like us (Rev.1:6).
O comrade, think about when we come late to church and yet will not walk down the pews with reverence but cause distraction, when we start receiving phone calls right there during worship, browsing our phones during service, paying offerings with currencies so dirty or torned that we couldn't successfully exchange it for anything in the market place, when we deliberately commit sin because we know God is our Father and is merciful and forgiving etc. Do you think we can wave that off with this "God understands" prevailing slogan?
Psalms 25:12-14 hints us of the blessedness of living with reverential fear for God. Don't forget grace doesn't change God's nature.
May we not block the inflow of God's blessings towards us by ourselves.
