There is an end in the mind of God for all believers; He intends that in the end He should have our hearts established unblameable in holiness in His presence at the return of Christ. But this can only be achieved when we increase and abound in love towards Him and all men. 1Thess.3:12,13.NLT
To please God goes beyond just confessing Jesus as Lord, it goes further into daily endeavours/walks of the saved. A man can choose to walk in a way that displeases God. 1Thess.4:1.
In 1Thess.4:3-5 (NLT) it was established that there is a link between the use of our bodies and being holy. A man who can not exercise self control can not claim holiness and without holiness, where does salvation stand?
Let us O comrade not get ourselves deluded, if the love we claim to have for God and others does not propel us into living a holy and acceptable lives aided by daily supply of grace, we are self deceived then.
