CONTINUAL PURGING OF THE SANCTIFIED 6

The two renditions of Hebrews 10:10 we are to examine are:
1. "By the which will we are sanctified once for all through the offering of the body of Christ" and
2. "By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all".
The first rendition presented the verse as saying "Jesus had by offering His body sanctified us once for all and there's no need for cleansing anymore" while the second one which is the right rendition in the Bible presents it saying "Unlike in the former covenant where animals had to be offered continually for remission of sin, Jesus need not to be crucified over and over again but
had once for all through the offering of His body provided a fount for our cleansing"
The day we gave our lives to Christ, we become cleansed by the atoning blood of Jesus and are sanctified. And all of the sins we have committed God blot out and remembers them no more. Heb.8:12
Any fresh sin committed afterwards must be confessed in regret/godly sorrow. If we do, we receive forgiveness 1John 1:9 and that fount gets us cleansed from whatever unrighteousness we have committed. 1John 5:17a.
O comrade, it is biblical for the sanctified to plead for forgiveness and be cleansed whenever they fall into sin. Don't keep your defiled garment unwashed till
the bridegroom comes.
That is most dangerous.
May the Lord help us all in these last days.
Shalom.
