"Brothers and sisters, we urge you to warn those who are lazy. Encourage those who are timid. Take tender care of those who are weak. Be patient with everyone" 1Thess.5:14 NLT
The fourth and the last of our responsibilities towards each other on this list is being patient towards each other.
Note that the patience extends also to the lazy, the timid and the weak.
This only will I admonish that we should fully depend on the Holy Spirit's guidance as we exercise patience lest we end up being foolish offending our Lord.
The same patience that the church at Ephesus had by which they tried out those people who claimed to be Apostles and detect they are liars (Rev.2:1-3) was the same patience that the Church in Thyatira had that made them tolerate Jezebel to operate as a Prophetess in the church (Rev.2:18-20).
May we never walk in darkness as we exhibit this virtue called Patience.
