"For we are God’s masterpiece, created in the Messiah Jesus to perform good actions that God prepared long ago to be our way of life." ISV
Though we are not saved by good works, we are saved and kept alive still on this planet for good works.
Good works can save no man but every saved soul does not add good works to his actions to look good to people but exhibit good works as an obligatory responsibility from a coverted, tranformed life. For it we didn't drop dead after giving our lives to Jesus.
What you do O comrade; the way you comport yourself in speech, actions, reactions, dressing, the way you do your job as a civil servant, etc. do you think Jesus will do the same if He were to be you?

The call to Christianity is a call to good works.
