“You are the salt of the world..." Matt.5:13 ISV
The call to Christianity is a call to service(Matt. 20:28)
As salt in the earth, we are called to make this world a "sweet" place for humanity; arrest decay (corruption, immorality, wickedness etc) where it thrives and prevent decay (corruption, immorality, wickedness et) where it has not been experienced.
That is enforcing the kingdom of Jehovah God which is righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Ghost (Rom. 14:17)
O comrade, in that place where God has located you, are you a salt indeed or it's just in the positive confessions and quotable quotes?
We are called to serve like Jesus and during Christ's physical service on earth, corruption did not thrive where He was, neither troubles nor sorrow for He carried a life that enforced righteousness, peace and joy.
Now, as a Christian who is representing Christ, what service do you render in the earth? The one that enforces righteousness, peace and joy or corruption, troubles and sorrow?
Check your Christianity.
Shalom.
